Parley vs Poe
Both give you more than one AI model. Only one of them lets the models answer each other.

Poe, from Quora, gives you a lot of AI models from one place. You open it, pick a bot, and talk to it. If you want a second opinion you open another bot and ask again. That is a real convenience, and for a lot of work it is all anyone needs.
Parley starts from a different question. Not which model should I ask, but what happens if they have to answer each other.
The structural difference

That last row is the one that matters. Getting three answers is easy. Getting three answers that have been through each other is a different thing, and it is the only thing Parley is built to do.
What "they answer each other" actually looks like
You ask whether a plan is any good. GPT says it could work if you test it cheaply first. Gemini replies to GPT directly and says that assumes people will trust it on day one, and asks for evidence. Claude picks up the thread and proposes which part to verify. Nobody copied anything between tabs. When it settles, Parley writes down both the points they converged on and the points they did not, rather than blending them into one confident-sounding paragraph.
A second model can also be asked to peer-review or fact-check a specific claim the first one made, which is a different job from asking the same question twice.
When Poe is the better choice
Genuinely, and not as a formality:
- You want the widest possible catalogue of models and bots. Poe carries more than Parley does, and adds them faster.
- You want image or audio generation alongside chat. Parley does not generate images or audio at all.
- You mostly work from a phone. Poe has native mobile apps; Parley is a web app.
- You just want cheap access to a lot of models. If switching between models is the job, a discussion layer is overhead you are paying for and not using.

When Parley is the better choice
- The decision is hard to reverse. Whether to start the business, take the offer, trust the claim. One model agrees with you too easily; several that have argued do not.
- You noticed you were doing the copying. Pasting one model's answer into another to see what it says back. That loop is what a Room replaces.
- You want the disagreement kept. Where models split is usually where the real decision is, and averaging it away destroys the most useful part.
- You want to see it without setting anything up. Seven of the ten providers run on Parley's own credits, so no API key of your own is needed to start.
The honest summary
Poe is an access tool: many models, one place, low friction. Parley is a discussion tool: fewer models, one conversation, and they have to deal with each other. If you already have model access and the thing that still costs you time is reconciling what they said, that gap is the one Parley is for.
Up to six models can take part in a single Room (three on the free plan), and the free plan needs no card. The fastest way to judge it is to put a question you actually care about in front of a few models and watch what they do to each other.
