Is Parley free?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 2 AI Participants and 4 Rooms, no credit card required, plus a one-time trial Credit good for roughly 40 messages — including Research Rooms and Brainstorming Rooms, not just Chat. Any paid plan — Starter ($9/mo) and up — raises those limits and unlocks Auto Mode and ModelSight's AI-generated comparison; higher tiers just add more Credit budget, not more features.

Which AI providers are supported?

GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, Qwen, SEA-LION, Cohere, and PLaMo. You bring your own API key for each provider you want to use, Parley never marks up inference cost.

Why does the Chrome Extension ask for access to every site?

The side panel reads whichever page you currently have open so it can ground the AI's answer in what you're actually looking at. There's no way to know in advance which page you'll ask about, so this needs to work on any site rather than a fixed list.
